Ep. 25: Step Out of Your Comfort Zone with Cara Blondo
Friday Jul 26, 2024
Friday Jul 26, 2024
As writers, we long to feel comfortable in our calling. We look forward to developing and sticking to a routine, overcoming imposter syndrome, and settling into our preferred methods. All of these are wonderful goals and assist us in the ultimate goal of stewarding our words unto the Lord. But what if we get too comfortable? What happens when we settle in and STAY settled? In this session, Cara will answer these questions by exploring why we crave the comfort zone, the common challenges we face in stepping out of them, and why they hinder our growth. As we look at biblical examples of those who stepped out of "the zone" and into new growth, we will learn how to identify areas we, too, are called to step out.

Ep. 18: Doing What You Can While Finding Peace in What You Can’t with Cara Marie Blondo
Wednesday Jul 10, 2024
Wednesday Jul 10, 2024
This week, Cara Blondo will help us consider the idea taken from Mark 14:8 of the woman who "did what she could." As Mary anointed Jesus with costly perfume, many disciples and Judas criticized her gift. Jesus, on the other hand, praised her beautiful sacrifice, and we honor her today. As we shift our perspective from the frustration of what we can't do because of lack of time, ability, etc., we also learn ways to see what we can do and how to serve. No ordinary offering is too small to make an eternal impact. How are you stewarding your gifts for the kingdom---despite your limitations? We all have them! Join us for this discussion and be encouraged in your kingdom work.
